Write 5 sentences using exclamation marks correctly.

Numeracy – addition of HTU to HTU with carrying

http://www.harcourtschool.com/activity/elab2004/gr3/3.html place two numbers in the boxes.  If the column is more than 9 press “regroup” see how it exchanges 10 units for a 10 and 10 tens for a hundred.  This is quite a tricky concept.  We had worked on TU adding TU.  The more familiar you become with the on line game the better.  If you have any queries, or wish me to assist, please email on pmiskelly105@c2kni.net.

Literacy - Complete activity on which punctuation to add. Question Mark, Full Stop or Exclamation Mark?  Ask the child for reasons for their answers.  Remember that questions ask for information and usually begin with who, what, where, when, why, how, etc.

Numeracy – addition of HTU to HTU with carrying

Column addition – start with units, move to tens then hundreds.   Worksheet – remember to regroup and carry the ten or hundred over to the relevant column.  Keep all units together, all tens together and all hundreds together.
