Weekly round up of this weeks phoncs/mental maths (choose 5 spellings - word of the week is 6th spelling/6 tables to ask followed by a short dictation sentence).

Topic maths - recap on forwards/backwards and left/right. Look at 'giving directions' grid. Direct a grown up/sibling around the grid. Switch and let a grown up/sibling direct you. Repeat.

Writing - Write your own sentences with different openers about a dream you have had. For example, Last night I dreamt I was a ballerina wearing a purple and orange dress. At first I was happy dancing until my feet began to get very sore. All of a sudden, a wizard arrived to my ballet class with new shoes that sparkled very brightly. Draw a picture when complete. Remember to underline the different openers.
